Marlena Medford is Communications Director for Code for America, a civic-tech nonprofit that partners with government at every level. She was Director of Government Outreach for PeakDemocracy, a public engagement platform; Communications Officer for the City of Encinitas, and is a government consultant. Marlena also was a journalist for a decade.
